➡️ Other companies and research centres from the Liberec Region (to be specified).
13:00 – 19:00 Conference Part
The following speakers have already confirmed their contributions:
➡️ International conference speaker Denis Koltsov, PhD / https://brec-solutions.com/: High impact of Advanced Materials and nanotechnologies on environment and communities.
➡️ International conference speaker Prof. Dainius Martuzevicius from Kaunas University of Technology: ZnO Nanostructures for Surface Protection, Air Purification, and Catalytic Applications. The presentation will highlight cutting-edge research and innovation in zinc oxide (ZnO)-based nanomaterials, developed in collaboration with Lithuanian startups Zinotech and Bious Labs Technology. Participants will learn about practical applications such as improving the efficiency of solar panels using water-repellent ZnO coatings, developing nanofibrous filters for air purification, and utilizing ZnO as a catalyst for environmental remediation. The session will showcase how these technologies contribute to sustainable solutions in energy and environmental protection.
➡️ NanoTechDynamics: Effective Solutions to Environmental Challenges Using Nanotechnologies in Water Purification.
➡️ Technical University of Liberec – Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovation, sSpeaker: Prof. RNDr. Martin Pumera, Ph.D.: Water filtration and treatment using nanotechnology – application of nanorobots for environmental purposes (water and soil purification).
➡️ Elmarco s.r.o., speaker Ivan Ponomarev PhD: Environmental, ecological and sustainable approach in electrospinning technique to produce polymeric and micro- nanofibers.
➡️ Czech Nanotechnology Industry Association: Nanotechnology and the Environment.
➡️ Palacký University Olomouc, CATRIN / Global Water Nanotechnologies s.r.o., Regional Centre for Advanced Technologies and Materials, Environmental Nanotechnology Group, speaker Jan Filip: Iron-based nanotechnologies for groundwater remediation and new applications in surface water and wastewater treatment, a summary of >15 years of experience.
➡️ University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně, Center for Nanomaterials and Biotechnology.
We are in intense negotiations with other speakers.
➡️ Closing Panel Discussion: Nanotechnology in Industry: From Research to Application.
There will be plenty of time for networking between the individual lecture blocks.

High impact of Advanced Materials and nanotechnologies on environment and communities.
Nanomaterials as well as newly coined “advanced material” have been used over nearly two decades in shaping our lives from electronics and consumer products to medicine, defence and climate change. Applications in advanced concrete, self-cleaning surfaces, medical devices as well as large scale water and soil remediation earned credibility for this research and investment area. There are many less well-known areas where the impact of nanomaterials is so significant that it needs a serious public debate.
