The NanoCzech Liberec 2023 conference at the end of September will create a meeting place for nanotechnology companies and interest organisations, companies interested in high-tech solutions, representatives of public administration, scientific researchers, and students alike. It is being organised by the Regional Development Agency, together with the Liberec Region, the Technical University of Liberec, and CzechInvest.
The conference aspires to become the largest gathering of its kind in the Czech Republic. The first year will symbolically be held 70 years since foundation of the Technical University of Liberec, and at the same time 20 years since the creation of the technology of industrial nanofibre production.
The Liberec region has been intricately linked to nanotechnologies for those two decades. Nanotechnologies gained a positive media image in the region below Ještěd Mountain and throughout the Czech Republic during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the university, companies, and the Liberec Region all playing a key role at the onset of the pandemic in broadening the production of protective equipment throughout the Czech Republic.
The goal of NanoCzech Liberec 2023 is to present the absolute best of the Czech nano-industry to domestic and foreign delegates in lecture blocks dedicated to companies, individual faculties at TUL, and foreign experts. There will be about thirty stands in the NanoCzech Expo section alongside those lectures.
The guest list includes interest organisations and public institutions that are ready to help Czech nanotechnology companies expand into new markets or find new investors. To this end, we will be preparing the opportunity to network throughout the day. Those involved, for example, will include CzechInvest and CzechTrade, AFI (Association for Foreign Investment), and Liftia (advisor for stock market entry, growth financing, and M&A transactions).
